Mr. Guibord is a great-grandson of Arther B. Corthell, one of the principal design
engineers for the construction of Grand Central Terminal. He was appointed to the
position of Terminal Engineer in 1902, and had responsibility for full design of the
railroad facilities in the new terminal. Mr. Guibord donated to the Williamson
a substantial collection of Mr. Corthell's files and photographs.
