| Mr. Russ Guibord addressing open house meeting in the Williamson Library, Oct. 30, 2009. Mr. Guibord is a great-grandson of Arther B. Corthell, one of the principal design engineers for the construction of Grand Central Terminal. He was appointed to the position of Terminal Engineer in 1902, and had responsibility for full design of the railroad facilities in the new terminal. Mr. Guibord donated to the Williamson a substantial collection of Mr. Corthell's files and photographs. Taken by Steve Kalka using an Olympus C-5000 Zoom 5 Megapixel point and shoot digital camera. |
