NYRRE 2005 Labor Day Trip. Train on Tunkhannock Viaduct, Nicholson, PA. This bridge, completed by the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad as part of the "Hallstead Cutoff" in 1915, contains more concrete than any other bridge ever constructed. It is 240 feet high and 2375 feet long. It is now operated by Canadian National.
